1. Platform Purpose

Autohton.com is a marketplace that facilitates the sale and delivery of authentic products from the Republic of Moldovaand Romania to the diaspora. Our platform connects consumers with local producers and takes responsibility for ensuring the quality of the delivered products.

2. Registration and Use of the Platform

To place orders on Autohton.com, users must:

  • Provide accurate and complete personal information and delivery address.
  • Agree to the processing of personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.
  • Accept all the conditions outlined in this document.

3. Responsibility for Product Quality

Autohton.com assumes responsibility for the quality of the products listed on the platform
and is committed to working exclusively with reliable producers.a

 

⚠️ Limitation of Liability:

  • Autohton.com cannot be held responsible for minor variations in taste, color, or appearance that may occur due to the artisanal production process.
  • Products are inspected before shipping to ensure they meet quality standards. However, Autohton.com cannot guarantee complete satisfaction regarding taste, as perceptions may vary from person to person.

4. Delivery and Package Collection

Packages are delivered through specialized courier companies, and the collection and shipping schedule is as follows:

  • Package Collection for Moldova:

✅ Packages are collected every Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.
✅ Packages are dispatched from Moldova every Wednesday.

  • Delivery Time:

⏰ Delivery takes approximately 3-4 days after dispatch.

  • Orders Placed Between Thursday and Wednesday at Noon:

📦 If you place your order between Thursday and Tuesday at noon, the will arrive Friday or Saturday of the same week.

5. Return Policy and Package Confiscation

We aim to ensure that every customer is satisfied with our products. However, in case of

unforeseen situations, we apply the following policy:


  • Package Confiscation by Customs:

🚨 If a package is confiscated by customs authorities, Autohton.com commits to:

  • Refund the full amount to the customer OR Resend the package with the next available route, at no additional cost.

6. Payment and Billing

Orders can be paid using the following methods:

 

  • Credit card (Visa/Mastercard)
  • Bank transfer
  • Other payment methods available on the platform

An invoice will be automatically generated and sent by email upon order confirmation.

7. Order Cancellation and Modification Policy

  • Order Cancellation: You may cancel an order before it is processed for shipment.
  • Order Modification: Any modification to the order is possible only before the package is collected.

8. Force Majeure

Autohton.com cannot be held liable for delays or inability to deliver caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Customs or logistical issues beyond our control
  • Legislative or administrative restrictions

9. Data Protection

We respect the privacy and security of our customers’ data. The information provided is protected in accordance with the applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Autohton.com reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be published on the website and will take effect immediately.
